What does this plugin do?

This plugin provides users with an intuitive and streamlined way to browse, manage, and organize collections directly within the Cantemo Portal interface. This plugin adds a dedicated sidebar panel that lists all available collections, allowing users to easily search, filter, navigate and interact with their content. Collections are displayed hierarchically, showing both root collections and sub-collections for quick access and context. 

How to trigger:

The CineSys Collection Browser plugin has to be enabled by an admin for the particular group the user(s) login to Cantemo as. If that group has access to that plugin, then the users will only see the new CineSys Collection Browser in the Cantemo user interface.

User Experience:

The Collection Browser emphasizes speed, clarity, and control. Users can quickly search and sort results based on different criteria.

Users can quickly take action within any collection through intuitive menus that enable uploads, sub-collection creation, metadata viewing, and reindexing. 

Users can easily create new collections to group, organize, and manage related assets within their workspace. Each new collection serves as a flexible container for content, enabling customized structure and collaboration across teams.

Portal Permissions

Users must have the 'cinesys_collection_browser' permissions flag to use this plugin.

  • You can override the color of a specific collection in the collection browser. The Item Styles collection colors will also be used in the collection browser.
